Infrastructure Technology Business Development

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business, Engineering, Energy Management, Project Management or a related field and four years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Must have two years of experience in the following skills:

• (1) providing technical leadership and project management for commercial or business development energy or utility projects;
• (2) managing large power infrastructure or utility contracts with external stakeholders;
• (3) tracking planned schedule progress of owner work as well as contractor or utility work, to drive projects to completion.

Up to 25% domestic travel to perform role responsibilities may be required.

Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive utilities strategy for AWS data centers for AMER regions. Manage multiple Utilities, Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contracts, and Owner's Engineers to deliver Medium-Voltage (MV) and High-Voltage (HV) power infrastructure, including negotiations and contracting. Work cross-functionally across AWS to help deliver the highest standards for safety and security. Develop and execute energy strategies that leverage capital projects (utility grid connections, high voltage substations, energy storage, etc.)

to reduce long term energy costs. Manage capital budgets for electrical infrastructure and energy projects. Work collaboratively to support the development of strategic energy sourcing opportunities.
