Job Description

U.S. Client Marketing:
Strengthen relationships with well‑established Clients and develop new ones within our Super‑Regional segment.

As part of the U.S. Client Marketing team, the Manager is responsible for client consultation to uncover product and payment marketing opportunities, develop holistic marketing plans, and partner on the creation and implementation of campaigns, events and sponsorship activations that ensure client satisfaction in the Super‑Regional segment. Goals focus on increasing Visa marketing revenue while staying within margin and third‑party expense parameters, and on demonstrating the value Visa Marketing brings to clients and cardholders.

The ideal candidate understands the changing payments marketing environment, has payments marketing experience, and is driven to create breakthrough work across all channels. Key traits include a strategic mindset, consultative and creative client marketing solutions, strong communication, a client‑service mentality, and a focus on measurement.

Responsibilities
  • Develop work product with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize competing needs.
  • Collaborate on client pitch and engagement efforts or in developing project work streams.
  • Leverage industry and Visa data, market research, and best practices to synthesize deep audience insights and deliver relevant recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Design and support the successful execution of integrated B2C and B2B campaign activations across digital, social, OOH, experiential/event, and point‑of‑sale channels.
  • Coordinate cross‑functionally with sales, legal, product, creative, privacy, Visa Consulting & Analytics, media agencies, and others to support high‑impact programs.
  • Optimize Visa Consumer and Commercial Marketing platforms/initiatives to deepen client relationships.
  • Leverage Visa’s iconic sponsorship platforms—Olympics, FIFA World Cup, and more—to achieve client and Visa objectives.
  • Enable measurement, analysis, and reporting of marketing program performance and its impact on business results.
  • Develop and manage marketing contracts.
  • Demonstrate budget management and financial discipline, including forecast management of Value‑Added Services revenue for key clients.
  • Leverage Artificial Intelligence to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support ad‑hoc requests from key stakeholders and clients.

This is a hybrid position. The expected number of office days will be confirmed by the Hiring Manager.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 2+ years with an Advanced degree (Masters, MBA, JD, MD), (or 0 years with a PhD).
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 4+ years with an Advanced degree, or up to 3 years with a PhD.
  • 4–5+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or at least 2 years with an Advanced degree.
  • Experience in marketing, consulting, strategic partnership development or sales, and payments industry.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong project management, planning, teamwork, and relationship‑building skills; experience leading through influence.
  • Experience managing creative, experiential, media, and social/digital agency partners.
  • Proactive in asking questions to drive robust conversations and solutions for clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products—including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook—and AI.
  • No relocation package is available.

Work Hours:

Varies depending on department needs.

Travel Requirements: 5–10% of the time.

The position is performed in an office setting, requiring sitting and standing at a desk, in‑person and telephone communication, and frequent standard office equipment use.

The estimated salary range is USD 114,400 to 195,150 per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job‑related factors. The position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
