We are currently looking for a compassionate, organized, and team-oriented individual to fill the role of Part-Time/Full Time Hospice Nurse (RN) for the San Francisco/ Peninsula.
Hospice Registered Nurse provides nursing care to terminally ill hospice patients as needed. As a Registered nurse, you will evaluate the patient’s overall health and your goal will be to improve the quality of life for your patients. All nursing will be done in accordance with each patient’s individual plan of care.
Responsibilities- Provide services within the scope of Nursing, in accordance with the plan of care, and in coordination with the interdisciplinary team.
- Follow plan of care, provide treatment, and evaluate patient’s reaction to treatment.
- Report any changes in the patient’s condition to the hospice Clinical Director.
- Perform online charting (Kinnser) in a timely manner on company-provided devices.
- Be responsible for following all company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as designed.
- One year of previous nursing experience.
- One year of hospice or home health experience (preferred but not required).
- Current RN license to practice in California.
- Current California driver’s license.
