About the Company
Triplet Imaging is an early‑stage startup developing novel non‑linear fluorescence excitation methods by harnessing triplet states. We aim to develop dramatically more efficient and lower cost non‑linear fluorescence imaging that can drive progress in life sciences research.
Job OverviewWe’re looking for a chemist on a part‑time contract (remote or hybrid in‑person) to help us identify promising molecules that improve our fluorescence excitation method, e.g., high rates of intersystem crossing. This position may later convert to full‑time.
Responsibilities- Collaborating with our team of physicists and optical engineers
- Conducting literature reviews and applying your prior knowledge to identify candidate molecules for our fluorescence imaging technology
- Serving as a point of contact with contract research organizations and advising on chemical synthesis approaches
- Interpreting basic microscopy/spectroscopy data from our experiments
- 4+ years of chemistry research experience (academic or industry)
- Expertise in photochemistry, spectroscopy, chemical synthesis
Location:
San Francisco, CA
Salary: $40.00–$80.00 per hour
