Team Member, Restaurant​/Food Service

At Bakers Hall you may work in the Marketplace, Cafe, or espresso bar. Positions include Greeter, Cashier, or Kitchen Team Member. The greeter includes welcoming guests inside as well as working in the Marketplace. Ensure displays are full and items are organized in their correct spots, help with the flow of customers waiting in line, help customers with their purchases of items and bread selection.

Cashier: operate cash registers, handle American currency, credit card transactions, wait on customers; stocking, cleaning, etc. Kitchen team members will help clear dirty tables and reset, ensure trash etc are empty and orderly, help clean the restaurant each night, clean, wash, and stock restaurant supplies, maintain a clean work area. Wash pots and pans by hand in hot water, use dishwashing machines for glasses, dishes, and cutlery.

Team members help customers find desired goods or services. They answer questions, make purchase recommendations and explain the benefits of the goods or services. Once they have helped customers make a satisfactory selection, they add up the total purchases and complete the transactions.
