The Salvation Army (TSA) Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) is a no‑fee program that assists men & women in completing our rehabilitation program. Employees are vital to the maintenance and effectiveness of the programs.

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Ability to operate a POS/Cash Register.
• Must pass a background check (Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry).
• Effective communication with management, team members, customers, and donors.

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
• Ability to grasp, push, pull, and lift objects up to 50 lbs, including merchandise carts, rolling racks, and miscellaneous carts.
• Ability to operate a telephone.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.

• Greet all customers and donors with prompt, courteous assistance.
• Stock priced items and merchandize the sales floor according to TSA standards.
• Sort donations in accordance with TSA standards.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, neat, and organized store; perform cleaning duties assigned by the Store Manager, Assistant Manager, Shift Supervisor, and District Sales Manager.
• Clean windows, dust areas, cashwrap, fitting rooms, bathrooms, stockroom, breakroom, donation area; sweep and mop as needed.
• Maintain the assigned department per TSA Merchandising Standards.
• Follow all POS/Cash Register policies per TSA policies and procedures.
• Maintain safety standards and report hazards or problems to the managers.
• Follow HR policies and procedures.
• Attend required monthly store meetings.
• Follow the dress code policy per TSA policies.
• Be flexible to accommodate scheduling needs; part‑time associates may work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory accurately.
• Perform quality assurance inspections for defects and damages.
• Maintain cleanliness in and around the donation trailer/pod at shift start and end.
• Assist donors in removing items from their vehicle and provide receipts.
• Separate and sort donated material into designated containers and stack as instructed by the Store Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management and command administration.

Our stores operate 7 days per week. Scheduling is determined by management, requiring flexibility to ensure adequate coverage; part‑time associates may work any part‑time shift, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
