About This RoleOpen and close Avala's automotive accounts — the autonomous driving programs, ADAS teams, and connected vehicle platforms that need production-grade training data 'll be the first dedicated automotive seller, building the playbook for the vertical where Avala has the deepest domain expertise.
What You'll Do- Build and manage a pipeline of automotive opportunities from prospecting to close
- Navigate complex enterprise sales cycles with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and AV companies
- Present Avala's platform capabilities to technical evaluators and engineering leaders
- Partner with solutions engineering to deliver compelling technical demonstrations
- Develop account strategies for major automotive OEMs and autonomous vehicle programs
- Represent Avala at automotive industry events (CES, Auto Sens, SAE)
- 4+ years selling technology solutions to automotive or autonomous vehicle buyers
- Experience selling to technical buyers (ML engineers, perception engineers, program managers)
- Understanding of ADAS/AV development pipelines and sensor data workflows
- Track record of closing $500K+ deals with complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Existing relationships at OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, or AV companies
- Experience selling AI/ML, data infrastructure, or developer tools
- Understanding of perception systems for autonomous driving (camera, LiDAR, radar)
