OverviewThe Executive Protection Specialist supports all aspects of security operations for designated principal(s). Successful performance in this role will require a high degree of motivation and the ability to adapt to fluid and dynamic security performance modes, locations, teams, and structures. This is a dynamic position requiring flexibility and an ability to adapt to changing operational requirements as directed by client needs.
EssentialJob Functions and Responsibilities
- Provide protective coverage for principal(s) and their family in a way that is professional, courteous, and in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and best practices.
- Perform day-to-day personal protective security functions.
- Drive the lead vehicle, principal’s vehicle, follow-vehicle, and/or act as response agent whenever required in motorcade or similar operations.
- Carry out daily Post and detail orders, or orders from the AIC, ADL, MPS or SL.
- Participate in advanced security operations.
- Man the security post at the principal’s residence, the command post, or other static post as required.
- Conduct site surveys and risk assessments.
- Participate in recurring protective operations training, to include emergency medical, vehicle operations, surveillance detection, and firearms proficiencies.
- Operate vehicles, including but not limited to EVs, golf carts, and off‑road vehicles in support of the client.
