As a Security Officer - Armed Financial Patrol in San Francisco, CA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as financial institutions. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing outstanding customer service while deterring security-related incidents.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation skills when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas for unusual or suspicious activity, maintaining a visible presence.
• Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or customers, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or activities in accordance with Allied Universal procedures and client requirements.
• Support access control measures by verifying identification and assisting with visitor management protocols.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate potential security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

• At least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Valid armed guard card or license.
• Valid driver’s license as required by Allied Universal driver policy.
• Minimum age of 21 for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws.
• Participation in industry-specific security training programs.
• License requirements subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
