The Hilton San Francisco Union Square, located in downtown San Francisco just one block from Powell Street station and the cable car turnaround, is looking for a Security Officer to protect its 1921 guest rooms and surrounding property.

Schedule: Availability from 3 pm–12 am is required, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility to cover other shifts as needed is preferred.

Wage: $28 per hour.

As a Security Officer you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of guests and team members and the security of the hotel and property in the hotel’s continuous effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you will:

• Patrol the interior and perimeter of the hotel and property to observe and identify potential safety and security risks.
• Respond to emergency situations, including safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies, and threats to life and/or property.
• Promote safe work practices.
• Initiate preliminary investigations into incidents as needed.
• Write reports and ensure accuracy of documentation.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.

• Previous security experience.
• Valid guard card or PPSO card.
• CPR, First Aid and AED certification.
• Hotel experience a plus.
