As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will be part of a security team that supports critical facilities and infrastructure, and public venues that require an enhanced presence and asset‑protective services. This position is an integral part of the broad spectrum of specialized security services Inter‑Con provides its clients every day.

• Security Officer covers posts such as customer counter, employee entrances, vehicle entrances, guard houses, gates, construction gates, parking lot, perimeter, etc.
• Conduct roving patrols on foot or in vehicle around perimeter fences, gates, buildings, warehouses, storage areas, switchyards, etc.
• Identify fire hazards, unauthorized activity, malfunctioning utilities, and hazardous conditions
• Perform additional duties related to the security of premises as required
• May be required to perform emergency duties that require physical exertion such as standing or walking for an entire shift, climbing stairs, lifting, carrying up to 50 lbs., and running

• Have reliable transportation
• Be physically capable of performing the assigned work
• Be able to meet all applicable licensing, registration, and certification requirements in the state where the officer’s assigned facility is located
• Communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing

• Must be 21 years or older
• High School Diploma or GED

• Security Guard Registration Card
