We are looking for a dedicated, self-starting individual to join our staff as a paid team member in the Bay Area, CA. The Bay Area Fundraising/Community Coordinator will provide in-person support to the Executive Director with development, fundraising, and strategy, while helping to sustain and expand our community of partners and language practitioners both in-person and remotely.

We are seeking volunteer bilingual proofreaders to review asylum seekers' applications and declarations in the following language combinations:

Our Volunteer Project Managers are responsible for coordinating the execution of translation and interpretation projects from start to finish (such as asylum cases, police records related to domestic violence, educational materials for immigrant families, etc.). We are currently seeking a Volunteer English Teacher to help talented translators in our network improve and practice their oral English skills.

The Social Media Volunteer will manage and update our social media platforms, create engaging content in collaboration with the team, respond to inquiries, monitor trends, and analyze metrics to assess the success of our social media efforts.

We are looking for a Blog/Newsletter Volunteer to collect and write stories about language rights violations and interventions, and to help create monthly newsletters and blogs to share these insights.
