SUMMARY:
The Temporary Coordinated Entry DV Specialist for the Community Office provides a range of direct services to survivors of domestic violence at our Community Office located on the ground floor at 1175 Howard Street. The Community Office is a drop-in center open Monday
- Friday from 9:00am - 4:30pm. The Community office provides services and resources to survivors of Domestic Violence. This position will work with other DV trained staff, for clients who are referred to the Riley Center, by drop-ins or follow up services from residents who participated in one of our DV shelter programs. This is a full-time, non-exempt,
temporary position ending approximately January 31, 2027
. The schedule is 40 hours per week with some evening and weekend shifts as needed.

SALARY AND BENEFIT OVERVIEW
The Temporary Coordinated Entry DV Specialist position starts at $32.29 per hour.
Paid sick time is accrued according to the San Francisco Paid Sick Leave Ordinance (PSLO). Employees earn 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To provide resources and services to survivors of Domestic Violence, the Temporary Coordinated Entry DV Specialist will provide services to individuals and households who are fleeing, or are attempting to flee, domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, human trafficking or other dangerous or life-threatening conditions that fall under the category of gender-based violence.
As a result of SVDP-SF continuing to collaborate with the Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing and other external stakeholders in this project, this job description may change as we continue to implement the best approach and services.
- Screen and assess domestic violence survivors using standardized data-based tools, including prioritization and referral protocols integrated into the HOPE system.
- Provide Coordinated Entry Housing Assessments for survivors of domestic violence.
- Use the ONE System to only gather the possible client's Unique Identification (UID) number
- Triage clients appropriately when they are coming into the community office to access services.
- Use a collaborative, client-centric, strengths-based, trauma-informed approach and a range of services to support survivors of domestic violence in avoiding entry to shelter or the experience of street homelessness. (e.g. helping those seeking services to safely…
