We’re representing a well-funded fintech company building a next-generation consumer finance platform for emerging markets. The company is creating a hybrid virtual banking and cryptocurrency wallet, enabling users around the world to move seamlessly within a unified financial ecosystem. The team is small, senior-only, and fast-moving, composed of experienced engineers and product leaders from top global tech companies. The company is led by founders with successful prior exits and is positioned to make a meaningful impact on global financial inclusion.

Their mission: rebuild financial infrastructure for the three billion people underserved by traditional banking systems, powered by stablecoin technology and world-class distribution partnerships.

What You Will Do

As a Staff Full Stack Engineer, you’ll take a high-impact, cross-functional role across multiple parts of the engineering stack. You’ll help architect, design, and implement the systems that power the company’s core financial platform — spanning backend services, web interfaces, and mobile app integrations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Architect and develop scalable systems across backend, web, and mobile platforms.
• Design and implement performant APIs, services, and user-facing experiences.
• Collaborate with iOS, Android, and backend engineers to build a cohesive cross-platform product.
• Lead technical design discussions and set engineering standards for quality and reliability.
• Optimize infrastructure for performance, scalability, and security across the stack.
• Work directly with founders and product leads to shape technical and architectural direction.
• Potential to grow into a general engineering leadership role across multiple platforms.

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping full-stack consumer applications.
• Proficiency across frontend and backend technologies, including:
• Frontend: React, Type Script, modern web frameworks
• Backend: Python, Go, or Rust
• Database & Infrastructure: Postgre
  
  SQL, AWS, Vercel (or similar)
• Strong understanding of system design, distributed architectures, and modern Dev Ops workflows.
• Deep sense of ownership and ability to move fast while maintaining code quality and stability.
• Experience handling complex data or real-money systems at scale is a strong plus.

• Experience building products for Latin American or emerging markets.
• Previous work in fintech, banking, or cryptocurrency.
• A strong eye for product design and user experience.
• Comfort leading architecture across web, backend, and mobile stacks.
