As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you’ll have a unique opportunity to directly develop bespoke tools for our customers that drive outsized impact by leveraging the Kroo platform.

Kroo is the leading data management platform for the construction industry. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you’ll have a unique opportunity to directly develop bespoke tools for our customers that drive outsized impact by leveraging the Kroo platform. In this role, you will:

• Design & develop custom solutions built on the Kroo data platform for specific customer use cases
• Meet with and partner closely with our customers to understand their use cases
• Develop proof‑of‑concept deployments and iterate toward production‑ready solutions
• Work alongside our Implementations team to drive customer success and long‑term value for our customers
• Contribute to productized solutions and share field learnings with the Engineering team

• Growing fast (consistent XX% MoM growth) with XX+ paying customers and on track to hit $X million in revenue this year. We are trusted by and work with top construction companies such as ARCO, Fortis, Suffolk, Mortenson, Choate, and many others.

• Customer‑obsessed
• Has built something AI‑native from 0 to 1 (either personally or professionally)
• Experience deploying and maintaining what you build at an enterprise production level
• Has a “get‑it‑done” mentality. You’ll make things work across on‑prem and cloud environments
• Has an interest in the construction industry
• Comfortable with working with autonomy and building their own processes that align with customer goals under pressure
• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails and React is desirable but not required
