Confluence Databases are organized collections of information, dynamically structured so that teams can define and reference relationships between work, empowering cross-functional consistency and visibility. With Confluence databases, teams can create a library of information, view and track deliverables, and aggregate tools, links, and information from inside and outside Confluence, into a single, customizable view.

• Own the delivery of projects built using Node.js microservices and React
• Be the engineering voice in our quarterly planning process
• Build an open, trusting, operationally mature culture
• Participate in hiring planning and other budgeting exercises
• Collaborate in technical/architectural discussions, provide direction and drive decision-making

• 5+ years of experience managing a team of software engineers
• Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferably a Computer Science degree or equivalent experience)
• Demonstrated experience partnering with product managers and designers to help set product direction
• Demonstrated experience building a high-productivity team
• Experience working with public-facing high-traffic websites or applications
• Excited to foster a culture of continuous improvement

To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones.

For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

• Zone A: $206,100 - $269,075
• Zone B: $186,300 - $243,225
• Zone C: $171,900 - $224,425

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
