This client is searching for a Staff Backend Engineer to ship elegant, high-impact features and infrastructure that power the core platform at scale.
Role Requirements:- Ship production features fast in Golang (APIs, services, workers)
- Write clean, tested, high-performance Golang code
- Design systems & own projects end-to-end
- Debug, profile, and optimize running services
- Work closely with PMs, designers, and the rest of engineering
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience building and maintaining APIs (REST or gRPC) in Golang
- Solid grasp of databases, cloud environments, and shipping code
- Previously worked at a startup or fast-paced tech company
