Backend Engineer

Location: San Francisco, CA

The Mission: Join us in building the core infrastructure that enables the mass delivery of clinical AI across American healthcare. Your work will directly translate into improving patient outcomes by accelerating access to treatment and massively increasing operational efficiency for healthcare workers.

As a Backend Engineer, you'll be responsible for the high-performance, high-reliability systems at the heart of our platform:

• Data & Integration: Design and build robust data pipelines and architect distributed systems to handle high-volume clinical data.

• EHR Integrations: Build and maintain core functionality to serve our product areas, focusing on seamless, reliable integration with disparate health systems and Electronic Health Records (EHRs).

• AI Integration: Integrate with and manage complexity from both in-house clinical AI models and external off-the-shelf models.

• Core Logic: Architect and implement complex business logic essential to workflows like Prior Authorizations and Patient Interactions.

You should have significant experience building lots of different types of systems and solutions, and be ready to make an immediate impact.

• System Architecture: Experience architecting distributed systems and managing complexity in a high-stakes environment.
