Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer Cofounder – Stanford Startup with Excellent Traction
We’re a fast-growing Stanford-founded startup with strong early traction looking for a Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer to join as a cofounder. You’ll take ownership of our product architecture and build scalable backend systems to support rapid growth.
Responsibilities- Lead backend development using Ruby on Rails
- Collaborate with the founding team on product design and technical strategy
- Optimize performance, security, and scalability
- Mentor junior engineers and help define engineering best practices
- 5+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails development
- Strong understanding of relational databases and API design
- Experience with scaling web applications and cloud infrastructure
- Entrepreneurial mindset and excitement for early-stage startups
