As part of the next generation of AI‑driven customer research, Outset is building intuitive and responsive frontend applications that empower teams to truly understand their users. By addressing the complexities of real‑time data streaming, visualization, and user interaction, Outset enables companies to accelerate product development, improve user satisfaction, and drive smarter strategic decisions.

• Collaborate closely with the CTO and CEO on strategic technical decisions and product direction.
• Design, develop, and optimize intuitive, user‑friendly frontend interfaces using React and Next.js.
• Build robust and responsive components that seamlessly integrate with backend services and APIs.
• Enhance user experiences through real‑time data visualization and interaction.
• Lead frontend projects from initial conception through production deployment, ensuring scalability, responsiveness, and reliability.
• Interface directly with users to gather feedback, understand pain points, and continuously improve our product's UI/UX.

• 3+ years of software engineering experience building production‑grade frontend systems.
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript/Type Script, React, and Next.js.
• Experience building scalable, responsive web applications.
• Familiarity integrating frontend applications with RESTful or Graph
  
  QL APIs.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.

Bonus points for familiarity with real‑time data visualization, WebRTC, or frontend performance optimization.

The cash compensation range for this role is $140,000 - $210,000.

Actual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, depth of experience, and certifications. In addition to cash compensation, all full‑time employees receive an equity compensation package.
