Overview

Senior Software Engineer;
Remote, United States (West Coast preferred); $147,500 - $195,000 base (flexible)

The Opportunity and Responsibilities

Extend our client’s in-house blockchain systems infrastructure to support the tokenization of the world.
Analyze requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing systems and modify systems.
Build and own scalable microservices responsible for reliable and secure APIs that transfer value and assets across blockchain protocols as well as traditional banking protocols.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to design, test, develop and document system design procedures, testing procedures, and quality standards.
Troubleshoot program and system malfunctions to restore normal functioning.
Build publicly accessible APIs that make it simple for developers to integrate with complex payment systems.
Integrate Platform Services with leading banks and financial technologies.
Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles.
Write the infrastructure to deliver great payment experiences, including data sources (SQL or No

SQL), messaging systems and APIs.
Other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements

A. 6 years minimum professional software development experience in object oriented languages like Java and Go

B. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field (or equivalent).

C. Led teams (2-4) technically on architecture and system design.

D. Experience working with payment systems like credit cards and bank transfers.

E. A broad understanding of RESTful API design and development principles.

F. Experience with Cloud Services (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, etc).

G. Experience with SQL databases and designing schemas.

H. Proven experience in the design & deployment of production-quality, scalable software.

I. A focus on coding standards and code quality -- a desire to have great test coverage to enable continuous delivery.

J. Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate with remote teams, share ideas and present concepts effectively.

K. Self-starter, you enjoy moving at a fast pace, shipping software that improves the user experience and constantly improving your work with little supervision.

Compensation & Logistics

Competitive base compensation - $147,500 - $195,000 base (flexible) + equity
