Job Description

• Senior Software Test Engineer will design and implement test solutions with highest quality using agile tools & methodologies

• Development and execution of robot and sub-system tests

• Development of testbeds to support robot and sub-system testing

• Supporting robot commissioning and performance monitoring activities

• Leading failure analysis and root cause identification

• Assisting with robot production and maintenance as needed

• Supporting customer deployments as needed

• Support continuous integration processes and system deployments

• Write test plans and test cases

• Troubleshoot critical defects in software coding

• Should possess the programing skills to drive test automation

• You have expertise in field of test automation and have driven efforts for implementing test frameworks on web, mobile platform or service oriented architectures

• Work closely with the QE/Developers/Product leads to achieve a high level of Unit & Test coverage

• Plan and conduct User Acceptance Testing with key stakeholders

• Should have an understanding of the Developer world, be able to voice customer perspective

• Superior verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences

• Experience in working with agile lifecycle and/or tracking and process management tools, JIRA

Qualifications

• Experienced in Agile Software development practices.

• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

• The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.

• Excellent documentation skills.

• Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.

• 5+ years of software development and test experience

• Hands-on Automation Scripting, White box testing experience and manuel testing

• Experience with Selenium or similar software testing framework

• Experience in building and executing automated and performance tests for REST based services is plus

• Experience with Agile Methodologies, Tools (JIRA, Confluence) Hands-on experience working with databases Elasticsearch & MongoDB

• Experience testing software at API level using SOA suite, SOAP UI, Post Man, REST Client etc.

• Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) tools such as Jenkins and monitoring tools such as Nagios

• Experience with Code Quality Governance related tools (Sonar, PMD, Find Bugs, Checkstyle, Emma, Cobertura etc) is plus

• Hands-on experience with Eclipse or other IDE development tools

• Experience with distributed source control systems such as Git

• Familiarity in performance testing using Jmeter or similar tools is a plus

• Computer Science or Information Science and Technology degree (IST) is preferred. Also will consider Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering degrees.

• 3 or more years of work experience or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree
