About This Role:

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to design, build, and scale Crusoe Cloud's customer-facing platforms and web applications. Your work will focus on delivering exceptional user experiences through modern React applications, robust CLIs, and scalable infrastructure. You'll play a key role in creating tools and interfaces that empower customers to seamlessly interact with Crusoe Cloud services. This is a full-time position.

What You'll Be Working On:

• Frontend Development:
Build responsive, performant React applications using modern JavaScript/Type Script, state management libraries, and component frameworks to create intuitive customer experiences.

• Full-Stack Integration:
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and Graph

QL endpoints that power our web applications, ensuring seamless data flow between frontend and backend systems.

• Infrastructure as Code:
Design and implement cloud infrastructure using Terraform to provision, manage, and scale application resources across multiple environments.

• Developer Tooling:
Create and maintain CLI tools that enhance developer productivity and enable customers to interact with Crusoe Cloud services programmatically.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with product, design, and platform engineering teams to translate customer requirements into technical solutions that balance user experience with system reliability.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

• Frontend Expertise: 2-4 years of experience building modern web applications with React, including proficiency in JavaScript/Type Script, CSS-in-JS solutions, and state management patterns.

• Full-Stack Foundation:
Strong understanding of backend development principles, API design, and database integration.

Experience with Node.js, Python, or Go is preferred.

• Infrastructure

Skills:

Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies.

• Web Technologies:
Solid grasp of modern web development practices including responsive design, performance optimization, accessibility standards, and progressive web app concepts.

• Tooling

Experience:

Experience building CLI applications and developer tools. Familiarity with package managers, build systems, and deployment pipelines.

• Problem-Solving Mindset:
Ability to debug complex issues across the full stack, from browser performance to infrastructure bottlenecks.

• Collaboration

Skills:

Strong communication abilities and experience working in agile, cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.

• Professional Growth: 2-4 years of software development experience with a track record of shipping user-facing applications and a desire to grow into technical leadership roles.

Compensation Range

Compensation will be paid in the range of $112,000 - $161,000. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicants knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
