Sr. Software Engineer; React.js

We're a seasoned startup team in San Francisco, looking to bring a few new team members on board. It's been a great couple of years and now it's time to grow! We've got a product that is selling, paying customers, and rock-solid funding. Classic startup vibe here, we know the value of hard play as it correlates to hard work.

Basic overview:

We are looking to hire a couple of developers, could be specialized or more fullstack, we're open. To be successful in these positions, you've got to be proficient with React.js and/or React Native.

The primary responsibilities will be developing UI components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux). You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. If you've worked with React Native as it relates to mobile applications, that's ideal.

Things you'll do:

• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code

Skills that will bring success in these roles:

• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Industry experience coding with Ruby/Rails and Node.js
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Experience with data structure libraries
• Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
