The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a frontend focus to lead the development of high‑performance, elegant, and intelligent user experiences across our AI‑powered web applications. Reporting to the Director of ML & Platform Engineering, this role will work closely with product, design, and AI research teams to bring cutting‑edge ideas to life and redefine how users interact with intelligent systems.

What You’ll Do

• Own the end‑to‑end development of highly interactive, performant, and polished user experiences across the frontend and supporting backend services.

• Lead frontend architecture while contributing selectively to backend systems that power AI‑driven workflows.

• Partner closely with product and design to translate ambiguous ideas into intuitive, user‑friendly interfaces.

• Make thoughtful trade‑offs between functionality, polish, and delivery speed, shipping quickly to validate user value.

• Define and uphold best practices for clean, maintainable, and scalable frontend architecture.

• Integrate AI capabilities into seamless, human‑centered user interactions.

• Implement analytics and feedback loops to measure impact and guide iteration.

• Improve performance, reliability, and developer velocity through strong CI/CD practices and testing frameworks.

• Evolve the design system and component library to ensure consistency, scalability, and rapid product development.

Example Impact in Your First 30 Days

• Prototype and ship an AI‑assisted interaction pattern (e.g., inline agent suggestions, conversational shortcuts, error explanations, or visualizations).

• Reduce frontend load times by ~40% through performance optimization.

• Establish frontend event‑tracking pipelines with clear naming conventions and dashboards.

• Improve the design system and component library to accelerate product velocity.

• Contribute improvements to CI/CD pipelines to make shipping safer and faster.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience with React, Type Script, Next.js, and modern styling frameworks such as Tailwind

CSS.

• Deep understanding of performance optimization, accessibility, and responsive design.

Full Stack Capability

• Comfortable contributing to backend services (e.g., Node.js, Python), APIs, databases, and infrastructure when needed.

• Ability to reason about systems holistically, from UI to data flow.

Systems Thinker

• Designs frontend systems that scale and evolve with product growth.

• Strong judgment around trade‑offs between speed and long‑term structure.

• Excited by AI‑native interfaces, real‑time interactions, and integrating LLMs or agent‑based workflows.

• Curious and experimental, pushing the boundaries of how users interact with intelligent systems.
