Role Description We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Automation Engineer to join our Platform team. In this role, you will help build, maintain, and scale the internal tools that power our engineering ecosystem. Because our software operates as a Medical Device (SaMD), your work will directly bridge the gap between rapid software innovation and rigorous FDA/regulatory compliance.

You will partner closely with Software Engineering, QA, and Regulatory teams to automate testing, streamline deployments, and generate the traceability artifacts required in a modern healthcare technology environment.

Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations between tools like Jira, Git Hub, Ketryx etc. You will ensure that code changes, pull requests, issue tracking, and automated test results flow seamlessly across systems to maintain an unbroken chain of traceability.

Leverage integrated tools to automate the generation of compliance documentation, test reports, and traceability matrices required for FDA and ISO 13485 audits, minimizing manual overhead for engineers.

Write and maintain Python and shell scripts to create internal developer tools that improve engineering velocity, reduce manual toil, and enforce code quality.

Work alongside QA, Dev Ops, and Product engineers to troubleshoot build failures, optimize local development environments, and clarify expected software behaviors.

What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field.
1–3 years of hands-on experience (including strong internships or co-ops) in software development, automation, test engineering, or Dev Ops.

Proficiency in Python or other programming languages and at least one shell scripting language (Bash, Power Shell).Hands-on experience with Git/Git Hub, issue tracking systems (Jira), and an understanding of continuous integration/continuous deployment concepts.
