Satellites are getting a redesign — and we need someone to help run the software that keeps them alive.

We're working with an early-stage aerospace company building a new generation of compact, high-performance spacecraft. Their tech is rewriting the economics of satellite constellations — smaller, smarter, cheaper to launch and easier to operate at scale.

Join a small, sharp engineering team and take real ownership of the flight software stack that operates the spacecraft — from embedded Linux and hardware interfaces to controls and comms.

• Building the flight software service stack that runs the spacecraft
• Designing clean, product-grade interfaces between payload, ground and software
• Hunting down bugs before they become mission-critical — observability, test systems, reliability engineering
• Working cross-functionally across radio, data management, attitude control and system safety
• Keeping things simple — modular, task-oriented systems, not sprawling complexity

• 3+ years building taskable software stacks (think web servers or similar service-based systems)
• Experience designing software-to-software and software-to-human interfaces
• Comfort working with Linux drivers and the /dev interface
• A bias towards simplicity — you'd rather build something maintainable than something clever
• Strong communication skills — you'll be working across disciplines, a lot
