Senior Software Engineer, WebOTT

About the Role:

The WebOTT Experiences team is responsible for building and optimizing the UI/UX across all Web and OTT applications s team owns everything that end users see and interact with, making it one of the most impactful teams in the company.

As part of this team, you will work closely with Product and Design to develop cutting-edge, experiment-driven features that enhance the user experience. In addition to front-end development, the team maintains the underlying infrastructure, improves CI/CD pipelines, and ensures seamless app performance  will be working with React, Node.js, Git Hub Actions, Terraform, and CDN infrastructure to build and deploy high-performance applications that reach millions of users.

This is a hybrid role based out of our San Francisco office. You must be willing to travel to our San Franciscooffice two days/week. What You'll Do:

Own the UI/UX across 19 different platforms, ensuring a seamless and high-performing experience for millions of users worldwide.

Lead and drive innovation in building experiment-driven features that push the boundaries of user experience in streaming.

Consistently ship features and improvements across Web and OTT apps with minimal guidance, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact updates.

Optimize performance and reliability of OTT applications especially on low end platforms, ensuring smooth playback and interactions across various network conditions and devices.

Improve and maintain the CI/CD pipeline to streamline deployments and ensure high-quality releases across all platforms.

Identify and implement improvements in shared UI components, platform-specific optimizations, and overall front-end infrastructure.

Mentor and collaborate with fellow engineers, sharing technical expertise and contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Your Background:5+ years of experience developing high performing and scalable web applications using React JS, Redux, JavaScript, Web APIs, HTML5/CSS, and Typescript Experience leading engineering initiatives and effectively communicating with cross functional stakeholders
