Right At School has provided safe, fun, and meaningful extended day enrichment programs for more than a decade, serving over 35,000 students in 17 states. This school‑year position supports the mission of inspiring a love of learning, supporting schools, and giving parents peace of mind.

Compensation
: $19‑$21 per hour (based on education and experience)

Schedule
:
Monday‑Friday, between 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm.

• Organize program materials for lessons and activities, and document attendance, incidents, and observations.
• Deliver the dynamic daily curriculum, engaging children in academic and social character‑building that expands school‑day learning.
• Use coursework training and on‑site training to model positive guidance and effective classroom management, maintain a safe environment, support homework completion, lead fun fitness activities, and guide children at play.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
• Meet regularly with the Program Manager regarding professional progress and team accountability.

• Works well in a team environment
• At least 6 months of experience working with children under 13 years of age in a group setting (preferred)
• Completed two years of higher education study (48 units) or an AA degree or higher, or pass a formal District academic assessment test.
• Must be 18 years or older with a high‑school diploma or equivalent
• College credits in early childhood education, child development, elementary education or a related field (preferred)
• Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
• Ability to lift 25 lb.
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living
• Meet state‑specific requirements: LIVE Scan fingerprint, FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter training, Health Certificate with Negative TB Test from a physician.
