The Spencerport School District is currently accepting applications for substitute Licensed Practical Nurses for the 2026-27 school year. Applications will be reviewed and selected candidates will be contacted for a screening interview.
Applicants must be fingerprinted and cleared for employment for the NYS Education Department before employment begins. The substitute is responsible for the fingerprinting fee; and will be reimbursed after having completed 10 days of employment.
Job DescriptionThis position performs nursing duties to ensure the health and well-being of the students of the district.
Salary/Rate of Pay$18.14 per hour
Minimum QualificationsPossession of a current New York State License as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in pediatric and/or public health nursing
- Certification in CPR and AED training
- Ability to interact with students, parents, and staff
- Exemplary communication skills
- Technologically proficient
