The Spencerport School District is currently accepting applications for substitute school nurses for the 2026-27 school year. Applications will be reviewed and selected candidates will be contacted for a screening interview.
Applicants must be fingerprinted and cleared for employment for the NYS Education Department before employment begins. The substitute is responsible for the fingerprinting fee.
Job DescriptionThis position performs nursing duties to ensure the health and well-being of the students of the district.
Salary / Rate of Pay$24.92 per hour
Minimum Qualifications- Possession of a current New York State License as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience as a school nurse.
- Experience in pediatric and/or public health nursing.
- Certification in CPR and AED training.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
- Ability to interact with students, parents, and staff.
- Exemplary communication skills.
- Technologically proficient.
