Accounting & Payroll Associate

Statewide Roofing is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting & Payroll Associate to support our day‑to‑day accounting and payroll operations. This is a hands‑on, on‑site role ideal for someone early in their accounting career who enjoys working with numbers, staying organized, and ensuring accuracy in a fast‑paced environment.

You’ll work closely with our finance and operations teams to help ensure bills, payroll, and financial data are processed accurately and on time.

• Process vendor bill payments accurately and on time.
• Support accounts receivable, including invoicing and payment tracking.
• Assist with job costing and tracking costs by job or project.
• Support month‑end close activities, including reconciliations and schedules.
• Maintain organized accounting documentation and supporting records.

• Enter payroll data accurately and on time.
• Track employee hours, payroll records, and adjustments.
• Maintain payroll documentation and reports.
• Coordinate with HR and finance on payroll‑related items.
• Help ensure payroll data is complete, accurate, and properly recorded.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting, payroll, or a related role.
• Strong Excel skills (formulas, filters, basic analysis).
• Experience with Net Suite or another ERP/accounting system preferred.
• Highly detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Comfortable with data entry and working with numbers.
• Ability to meet deadlines and follow established processes.
• Spanish preferred.
• Experience with accounting or payroll systems is a plus.
