SBA Business Development Officer

SBA Business Development Officer with strong Relationship Building skillset needed!

Base pay range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year.

Responsibilities
  • Actively seek out new business opportunities through prospecting and lead generation.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our company's products and services to effectively communicate the benefits to potential clients.
  • Build, maintain, and manage a robust pipeline of potential business deals.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans and initiatives aligned with the company's overall business strategy.
  • Facilitate and coordinate the negotiation and closing of new business deals.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, potential clients, and industry professionals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and the successful execution of business deals.
  • Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activities, and potential impact on business performance.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to network and promote the company's products and services.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, prospecting, and lead generation, in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of Small Business Administration (SBA) products and lending processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze market trends and business data to inform strategic decision making.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other business-related software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong networking skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in achieving business development goals.
