Construction Project Manager – Residential ADU & Prefab Housing

Live Large Home is hiring a Construction Project Manager to lead residential projects — ADUs, prefab homes, additions, and renovations — across the Bay Area. This is a hands-on, on-site role based in San Jose, coordinating across the office, job sites, subcontractors, crews, clients, designers, engineers, and local agencies.

• Own residential projects end to end, from pre-construction through final inspection and closeout
• Build and manage schedules, budgets, milestones, and deliverables
• Coordinate subcontractors, crews, architects, engineers, vendors, inspectors, and clients
• Run permitting, inspections, RFIs, change orders, quality control, and documentation
• Walk job sites regularly and resolve field issues fast
• Keep projects on schedule and on budget; communicate progress clearly
• Manage multiple active projects simultaneously

• 5+ years of construction project management; strong residential background required
• ADU / prefab / modular, additions, renovations, or ground-up residential experience strongly preferred
• Solid knowledge of California permitting, building codes, and inspections
• Proven experience managing subcontractors and field operations
• Organized, communicative, strong problem-solver
• Buildertrend, Procore, Bluebeam, , or MS Project experience a plus
• CA General Contractor license or related certifications a plus;
  Spanish/Chinese a plus

Location:

On-site in San Jose, CA with regular travel to Bay Area project sites. Must live within reasonable commuting distance or be willing to relocate; reliable transportation required.
