Substitute Teacher, Elementary School
The impact you will have: As a substitute teacher you will be responsible for providing instruction to San José Unified students in a classroom setting. With 41 school sites and programs from transitional kindergarten through post-secondary, we have a variety of opportunities for you to support student learning. We have both day-to-day roles, as well as a limited number of long-term substitute opportunities.
Who you are: A reliable, collaborative professional with strong communication skills who is committed to supporting student learning.
What you bring:
- Resume
- Valid Substitute Teaching Permit or California Teaching Credential
- TB Clearance that has been completed within past 60 days (screenings beyond 60 days will be accepted with additional documentation verifying that you have been continuously working in a public school setting since the date of your latest TB screening)
