Community Program & Operations Manager
Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA, Inc.) is seeking a Community Program & Operations Manager for a CONTRACT assignment with a premier SaaS client in San Jose, CA. Fully remote candidates are also considered.
We are seeking a detail-oriented, community-driven professional to provide temporary support during a team member's leave. This role will ensure continuity across Ambassador program operations, engagement, reporting, and cross-functional initiatives within Acrobat's Community and Product Marketing Organization.
You will be integral to maintaining day-to-day program functions—keeping the community engaged, ensuring smooth communications, and supporting strategic deliverables in partnership with internal teams and contributors including PR, Product Marketing, the Acrobat Evangelist, and the Operations lead.
Responsibilities- Ambassador Program Engagement & Support
- Create and manage a cadence of activities to engage Ambassadors via Community hub (e.g., surveys, Linked In shares, article upvotes) in collaboration with internal teams.
- Partner with community members to brainstorm ideas, content concepts, and self-led projects.
- Re-engage lapsed ambassadors through 1:1 outreach, reintroduce them into the program, add new members, and facilitate offboarding as needed.
- Act as a primary point of contact for ambassadors, respond to support needs, share updates, and facilitate communication between members and cross-functional teams.
- Coordinate monthly Brown Bag community sessions, balancing product-led and ambassador-driven topics; manage calendar invites and logistics.
- Program Operations & Coordination
- Support beta testing and research efforts by coordinating ambassador participation.
- Liaise with PR teams to identify and coordinate ambassador involvement in media opportunities.
- Partner with PMMs and evangelists to ensure ambassador enablement materials and program resources are current and accessible.
- Track ambassador participation across events, social content, research, and PR initiatives; work with the operations lead to ensure accurate reporting.
- Reporting & Communications
- Maintain and update ambassador program reporting, including internal decks and the quarterly newsletter.
- Share bite-sized program updates and success stories with internal Acrobat and Outbound teams to highlight community impact.
- Manage MAX event deliverables—logistics, attendee experience, deliverable tracking, and post-event reporting.
- Monitor progress against quarterly goals and ensure alignment across teams and initiatives.
- 5+ years of experience in community management, program coordination/management, or operations.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple streams of work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable acting as a connector between internal and external stakeholders.
- Self-starter who can work independently, troubleshoot issues, and keep projects on track.
- Familiarity with community engagement tactics and tools (Slack, Airtable, Outlook);
Adobe products are a plus. - Interest in Adobe's products and services; experience with Adobe Acrobat, Creative Cloud, and Generative AI tools is a bonus; event logistics planning experience is also beneficial.
