Base pay range: $60,000.00/yr – $80,000.00/yr.

We are seeking an inspiring and dedicated Middle School Science Teacher to join our dynamic and growing middle school community. As a science teacher, you will foster curiosity, scientific thinking, and a deep understanding of the natural world. Your lessons will be engaging, inquiry-based, and rigorous, helping students develop critical thinking skills and a strong foundation in scientific concepts that prepare them for high school and beyond.

We value educators who create hands‑on, inquiry‑driven lessons that encourage students to explore, experiment, and develop a love for science. You will stay informed on current scientific discoveries and integrate real‑world applications into your teaching to deepen student engagement. Collaboration across disciplines will be key, as you intentionally create interdisciplinary learning experiences that enhance students’ understanding. In your classroom, you will cultivate an environment where students think critically, ask meaningful questions, and apply scientific reasoning to solve problems.

• Develop and expertly teach courses that challenge students, support diversity, and demonstrate a strong commitment to their success with the highest standards for each individual.

• Teach advanced material beyond grade standards in engaging and interactive ways that convey your enthusiasm for the subject and educate students to an internationally competitive standard.

• Support the welfare of all students via proactive and restorative classroom practices.
• Keep parents updated on their children's learning and actively communicate with them.
• Show interest and capacity to advise students; each teacher is required to lead student activities, act as a club advisor or coach, and contribute beyond the classroom to enhance school programs and activities.
• Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion of people and programs.
• Actively participate in various aspects of the student experience and school operations, such as chaperoning a grade‑level field trip, supporting student events, serving on committees, and creating new school programs.

• A bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) in a field of study in or related to Science.
• A minimum of two years of teaching and training experience at the middle, high school, or college level.
