AboutThis Role
This part‑time position is designed for college students and entry‑level professionals passionate about education and aspiring to become future leaders in the industry. The successful candidate will work alongside a Silicon Valley teaching team while also supporting our business operations, marketing, and growth initiatives. No prior teaching experience is required.
You will have the resources and training to become a great math educator, delivering world‑class teaching services to PreK‑6th graders and preparing for potential roles such as branch director, department manager, or global expansion leader.
Job Responsibilities- Teach engaging lessons in English for elementary mathematics using the Think Academy curriculum

- Create an inclusive, positive classroom environment that fosters a love of mathematics for a class of 8‑16 students
- Identify and address individual learning needs with personalized assistance
- Grade homework and provide other key teaching services
- Maintain open communication with parents/guardians regarding progress
- Conduct parent‑teacher conferences as needed
- Hold office hours for 1‑on‑1 support
- Foster a safe, respectful learning atmosphere for all students
- Develop tailored mathematical learning plans, facilitating enrollment in short‑term or long‑term courses
- Support daily business operations, including marketing and growth initiatives in the Bay Area
- Open to all majors – training and professional growth provided
- Strong knowledge of math concepts and problem‑solving techniques
- Prior teaching experience is not required but highly preferred
- Passionate about teaching and the education industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using technology for instruction
- Can commit to at least one whole semester without interruption (Spring: Jan‑May, Summer: June‑Aug, Fall: Aug‑Dec)
- Responsible, reliable, and a team player
- Patient, empathetic, and motivated to inspire students
- Available and willing to work weekday late afternoons and weekends
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Willing to commute to an on‑site campus in San Jose, Los Altos, or Sunnyvale
- Compensation: $40 / hour teaching fee + $20 / hour administrative fee + teaching commission
