** Description
* * Praetorian Power Protection, the leader in NETA testing and staff augmentation to the mission-critical industry, is searching for an Energy Marshal to join our San Jose, CA based team. This is an exciting opportunity to get in a very fast paced environment and the cutting edge of technology and be on the front lines of AI.
** Job Overview
** The Energy Marshal will oversee energy management, ensure operational efficiency, and maintain compliance with safety and environmental standards in this state-of-the-art data center facility.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Monitor and optimize energy usage within the data center to ensure maximum efficiency.
* Conduct regular inspections of power systems, cooling systems, and other critical infrastructure.
* Implement and enforce energy conservation measures and sustainability initiatives.
* Coordinate with facility teams to maintain uptime and reliability of data center operations.
* Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations.
* Analyze energy consumption data and provide reports to management.
* Respond to energy-related emergencies and troubleshoot issues promptly.
* Train staff on energy management best practices and safety protocols.## Qualifications
** Qualifications
* ** Minimum of 3 years of experience in data center operations or energy management.
* Strong knowledge of power distribution, HVAC systems, and energy monitoring tools.
* Familiarity with data center infrastructure management (DCIM) software.
* Understanding of electrical systems and energy efficiency standards.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, LEED, or energy management) are a plus.
* High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.

* Pay range is $55–$65/hr DOE
