Our client, a leader in the semiconductor and hardware development industry, is seeking a Verification Engineer 5 to join their dedicated team. As a Verification Engineer 5, you will be part of the Verification Department supporting innovative ASIC development projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?

Participate in the functional verification of complex ASIC blocks and IP cores for CPU/GPU development efforts. Collaborate with design and verification engineers to understand and verify design functionality within system context. Develop and execute detailed test plans, including directed and constrained-random tests during simulation. Adopt and implement evolving verification methodologies to verify increasingly complex SoC designs within tight schedules. Utilize hardware modeling and assertion-based verification methods to ensure design integrity and performance.

What's Needed?

Over 10 years of proven verification experience on large ASIC development projects or relevant hardware/software/firmware experience. Strong background in C/C++ development within a Linux environment. Proficiency with debug tools such as GDB and Valgrind, along with excellent debugging skills. Knowledge of Object-Oriented programming, STL, computer architecture, and data structures.

Experience with Verilog, System Verilog, SystemC, and familiarity with DPI/PLI in C/Verilog environments is preferred.
