Pay Rate : $52/hr on W2

Seeking a Mechanical Engineer I to support the development of consumable fluidic devices fornext-generation single-molecule DNA sequencing technology. This hands-on role involves flowcell manufacturing, process development, device assembly,component testing, metrology, and engineering support in a collaborativeR&D environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support flowcell manufacturing, assembly, and process development forconsumable fluidic devices.
- Assist with Solid Works design activities and engineering documentation.
- Performdimensional, mechanical, and surface metrology measurements, data analysis, and reporting.
- Conductcomponent testing, quality inspections, and sample preparation for external analysis.
- Managecomponent inventory, shipping/receiving, and laboratory support activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support project milestones.
Qualifications:
- Associate'sor Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering,Materials Science, Electrical Engineering
, or a related field. - 0–2years of industry experience; hands-on laboratory or engineering experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Solid Works, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets
. - Experience with microfluidics, microfabrication, materials characterization,metrology, or microscopy is a plus.
