Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Director, Technical Revenue for our worldwide revenue accounting team in the Supermicro Finance and Accounting organization. The role drives revenue recognition best practices, mentors a team of Revenue Managers and Senior Revenue Analysts, and serves as the technical subject matter expert on ASC 606, interfacing with the revenue team, finance organization, external auditors, పై internal teams, and providing guidance on accounting within revenue transactions worldwide.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of the revenue cycle to ensure accurate revenue recognition under ASC 606, including updating policies, manuals, and procedures.
  • Lead technical accounting discussions, driving matters to conclusion.
  • Communicate highly technical perspectives to audiences ranging from sales personnel to senior management and audit teams.
  • Drive integration alignment between revenue-related areas, enhance accounting‑ الأبيض key revenue controls, operational improvements, and analytics that support strategic decisions.
  • Review customer compromceness for revenue‑recill implications and advise sales on structuring transaction deals.
  • Prepare technical accounting memoranda and provide guidance to non‑finance organizations based on new accounting guidelines.
  • Manage the monthly revenue close process, ensuring timely completion of all close analysis and reviews.
  • Work with external and internal auditors to ensure consistency and compliance with GAAP and all technical pronouncements.
  • Implement timely reporting and process improvements based on industry trends, authoritative literature, and business objectives.
  • Evaluate technical revenue‑recognition aspects for proper accounting on new company‑level business models.
  • Conduct frequent technical revenue‑recognition training for the revenue team and accounting personnel.
  • Keep up‑to‑date knowledge on new revenue‑related accounting pronouncements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience, preferably combining accounting firm experience (Big 4) and experience at public companies with complex revenue streams in a high‑growth, multinational environment.
  • Licensed CPA required.
  • Deep knowledge sas revenue accounting for multi‑element arrangements and strong application of ASC 606.
  • Conduct technical accounting research and document findings.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills; ability to collaborate and influence personnel at all levels.
  • Present information confidently to internal management and external auditors.
  • Strong judgement and decision‑making skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and project‑management skills, including large‑ variables HID initiatives.
  • Manage and develop employee performance, training and cross‑functional collaboration (Marketing, Legal, Finance).
  • Work under tight deadlines and high‑pressure situations; multi‑task effectively.
  • Knowledge of SOX and internal control development and implementation.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP), Rev Pro and related datasets on a global business.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Salary Range

$187,000 – $205,000. The salary offered depends on location, level, education, skills, years of experience, Variety and comparison to other employees. Candidates are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package and may participate in bonus and equity award programs.
