Controller

Our client, a specialty manufacturing company serving the semiconductor industry, is seeking a hands‑on Controller to lead their accounting and finance functions.

San Jose, CA. This position is onsite, 5 days/week.

This is a high-impact role reporting directly to the CEO, with full ownership of financial operations and visibility to the PE firm.

• Oversee all accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, G/L, inventory/cost accounting, and revenue recognition
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, forecasts, and operational reports
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and KPI reporting
• Manage cash flow and support audit and tax filing processes
• Develop and implement internal controls and process improvements
• Analyze financial data to identify growth opportunities and operational efficiencies
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and support executive stakeholders with financial insights

• 7+ years of accounting and finance experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
• Experience in manufacturing, MRO, aftermarket parts, or industrial services
• Strong proficiency in Quick Books Online, Fishbowl, Rippling, Salesforce, and Microsoft Excel
• CPA and bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred
• Proven ability to work independently and communicate effectively across all levels
