HEAD OF TAX STRATEGYDynamic and leading CPA firm in San Jose, CA is seeking a Head of Tax Strategy to join their innovative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing tax strategies while ensuring compliance and providing expert tax advice to clients.

Tax Strategy Responsibilities Conducts thorough analysis of tax laws and regulations to develop effective tax strategies.

Leads tax planning efforts to optimize clients' tax positions and minimize liabilities.

Manages tax compliance processes and reviews tax returns for accuracy and completeness.

Provides guidance and supervision to tax professionals to ensure high-quality client service.

Stays up-to-date on industry trends and changes in tax laws to inform strategy adjustments.

Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to address complex tax issues and opportunities.

Participates in client meetings and presentations to discuss tax planning and optimization strategies.

Ensures timely and accurate completion of tax projects within budgetary constraints.

Represents the firm in tax-related matters and interacts with taxing authorities as needed.

Requirements:

Minimum of 8 years of experience in tax strategy and planning.

CPA license and advanced degree in tax or related field preferred.

Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Experience with tax compliance software and systems.

Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
