Music Therapist – Part Time, Exempt

The Creekside School is seeking a part‑time, exempt Music Therapist to join our program team. This role provides music therapy and enrichment services to students with autism in individual and group settings, supporting social‑emotional development, communication, self‑regulation, and overall well‑being through meaningful musical experiences.

The Music Therapist designs and manages a comprehensive music therapy program, delivers engaging 1:1 and group sessions, collaborates with teachers and the behavior team to support student goals, and uses developmentally appropriate, research‑based practices with a strong emphasis on least restrictive supports. The position also includes planning music enrichment activities, maintaining therapy spaces and equipment, managing program materials and budget, and building positive, child‑centered relationships with students.

Qualified candidates must hold a valid Music Therapy Board Certification and have at least one year of experience working with children on the autism spectrum or with developmental disabilities.
