Guest Services, Hotel Front Desk
Signia by Hilton San Jose, located across from Plaza de César Chávez Park and within walking distance of the San Jose Convention Center, is seeking a full‑time Bellperson. Our property has been recognized as a top workplace by Great Places to Work and Fortune.
Ideal Candidate- Ability to effectively communicate in English
- At least one year of customer service experience
- Previous hotel or guest service experience is a plus
- Open availability, including weekends and holidays (no weekly schedule restrictions)
Earliest start time: 7:00 AM; latest end time: 11:00 PM. Weekends and holidays are required.
Hourly RateBase rate: $24.88 per hour plus tips, based on experience and location.

- Greet and escort arriving and departing guests to and from their accommodations.
- Retrieve and transport guest luggage.
- Inspect guest rooms and acquaint guests with room features.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously.
- Organize and store luggage according to guidelines.
- Keep management and leadership informed of relevant guest feedback.
- Deliver messages and faxes regularly throughout the day.
- Assist with room moves, special luggage deliveries, and maintain lobby presence as needed.
- Drive property‑designated vehicles to guest destinations such as rooms or the local airport.
- Assist with maintenance, appearance, and functionality of equipment.
