SAP ABAP Developer

Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers while producing minimal noise.

• Collaborate with business leads and outsourced managed services partners to prioritize and deliver business objectives on the SAP platform.
• Lead the development and implementation of SAP solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
• Manage and oversee the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) using Agile methodologies, including SCRUM.
• Utilize tools such as Confluence, JIRA, CPGRC, Service Now, Eclipse, and BAS to support project management and development activities.
• Develop and maintain custom code using ABAP, CDS, RAP, BADI, FIORI, and ODATA within the SAP S/4
  
  HANA 2021 or higher environment.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
• Ensure the quality and performance of SAP solutions through rigorous testing and code reviews.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

• 13 to 15 years of experience in SAP development and leadership roles. Proven ability to engage and collaborate with business leads and outsourced managed services partners.
• Extensive experience with SAP S/4
  
  HANA 2021 and higher.
• Proficient in ABAP, CDS, RAP, BADI, FIORI, and ODATA development.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with SDLC, SCRUM, Confluence, JIRA, CPGRC, Service Now, Eclipse, and BAS.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

• SAP certification(s) in relevant areas.
• Experience in Aerospace.
• Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules and third-party systems.
