Data Architect

Manager is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to take over responsibilities from a recently completed engagement.

This is not an infrastructure or admin role – the ideal candidate is a hands‑on architect with strong expertise in data ingestion, ETL processes, and designing architectures to support AI initiatives.

AI experience is not mandatory, but a perspective on AI use cases is expected.

Role Overview

Design and define enterprise data architectures for large‑scale systems. Lead data ingestion, transformation (ETL), and modeling for cloud‑based platforms. Architect foundational infrastructure for future AI/ML capabilities. Create detailed architecture diagrams and enterprise data models using Lucidchart or Visio.

Mandatory Requirements

• Educational:
Must hold a Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech) in Computer Science & Engineering (4‑year program).

• Non‑CS degrees, BCA, or 3‑year programs will not be considered.

• Cloud Expertise:
Hands‑on experience with Azure or AWS (either or both). GCP‑only experience is insufficient.

• Enterprise Diagramming & Modeling:
Strong experience creating enterprise‑wide data models and system diagrams.

• Must Tools:
Lucidchart or Microsoft Visio.

• Ideal candidate:
Proficiency in Spark programming – Databricks experience is a big plus. Experience in data architecture for large enterprises. Solid track record as an individual contributor, ideally growing from developer to architect.

• Cloud certifications (Azure/AWS) highly desirable.

Work Setup

Remote, but the candidate must work EST hours. Location in EST/CST time zones highly preferred due to overlap with the India‑based team.
