Technology Lead - Big Data/Hadoop/ Spark (Multiple Locations)

We are seeking a Technology Lead with expertise in Big Data, Hadoop, and Spark. The role is full-time and permanent, with locations available in Torrance, CA, San Jose, CA, and Sunnyvale, CA.

Qualifications:

• Basic:
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Alternatively, we will consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• Preferred:
  • Strong development experience in Big Data, No
    
    SQL Databases.
  • Strong development experience in Storm, Spark, HDFS, Hive, and Big Data related components.
  • Deep understanding of Java, Linux/Unix.
  • Analysis and understanding of upstream and downstream data needs for analytics.
  • Ability to work and liaise with teams across business units.
  • Good experience using SQL queries and other tools to perform data analysis.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with different teams.
  • Experience reviewing code developed and suggesting issues related to customer data.
  • Cloud exposure, preferably with Azure data.
