Pay Pal is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead the Cloud Platform & Infrastructure initiatives for Venmo in the San Jose area. You will drive cloud networking, routing, CDN and edge security with hands-on execution and strategic leadership across teams.
You will architect and evolve our CDN/edge delivery (AWS Cloud Front), manage WAF and security controls, and own the ingress architecture using Envoy/Contour and nginx proxies. Mentoring and high-availability operations are core expectations.
